Full Frontal with Samantha Bee

I worked as a Graphic Artist on the TBS show for its entire run from 2016 to 2022. The show’s graphics team was responsible for creating visual assets in several mediums, both digital and tangible. Also, we are very cool and chill and nice.
Over the show’s seven seasons, I created countless photo mockups, illustrations, animations, visual effects and props.
In addition to creating in-show graphics, I had the chance to design and animated two mobile apps: This Is Not a Game: The Game and Full Frontal’s Totally Unrigged Primary. These were produced by Razan Ghalayini. The Project Manager was Adam Werbach.

“Success will be measured by whether or not users laugh and maybe even connect with the subject matter. (Everyone involved frequently uses the word "fun" and points to Dan {Spenser}’s enjoyable design for the game as some of its best qualities.)”
I was given the opportunity to design and animate three field pieces (and an interstitial for the Christmas Special).

Full Frontal has done over 200 episodes, several specials, a few webseries and a handful of fun side projects. I have been lucky enough to be a part of the show’s exceptional graphics team and to eat free cereal from the office kitchen during the show’s entire run.

I pitched obnoxious ideas to Sam for this fun video and she was gracious enough to not fire me.

Love, Death + Robots

I had the opportunity to design some props for Three Robots: Exit Strategies, the season 3 premiere episode of the Netflix series. Directed by Patrick Osborne. Animation by Blur Studio.

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver

I worked as a designer for the HBO show for three seasons. Aside from doing photo mock-ups, illustrations and animated bits, my main responsibilty was to design the “hero graphic” that indicated the main topic of each episode. I also established a style guide for recurring elements.
